Nail Fungus?
I’ve had the nail extentions for about a month. It’s just my luck that I just started getting them done again I might have nail fungus. Its almost right in the middle of the nail and it looks like a green smudge. I can’t really tell coz of the powder filling that they put on it. When I got it done, I noticed it but the guy didn’t say anything so I didn’t think much of it. But now its bugging me and I keep staring at it. Nail fungus that I’ve seen was yellow and made the nail all brittle and yucky looking. How can you tell if it is nail fungus?

Nail fungus is made up of tiny organisms (Tinea Unguium) that can infect fingernails and toenails.
Most often, nail fungus appears in the toenails because socks and shoes keep the toenails dark, warm, and moist.The toenails are 6 to 7 times more likely to be infected than fingernails.At first, the edges or base of the nail is affected.As it spreads, the nail and nail bed show changes.There is often mild discomfort, itchiness, or even pain around the cuticles (flesh surrounding the nails).Bleeding or detachment of the cuticles may occur. The nail can become discolored-yellow-green, dark yellow-brown, and sometimes white spots are seen. The nails thicken and develop abnormal grooves, lines, and tiny punched out holes.
